The SAS and Polish GROM are the most respected Special Forces in the world. When UK and US Tier 1 operators were asked which unit they respected the most for the EA Medal of Honour: Warfighter game, they all said GROM.

@@briancrawford69 No, its actually widely known that US Tier 1 Special operations units are Delta force and Devgru (Seal Team 6), And UK Tier 1 unit is the SAS, Poland's Tier 1 unit is GROM, as Grom is based on SAS and Delta force training and selection. And Then you have Formoza which is Poland's version of the SBS or Seal Teams. Regular Seals are top notch but they are not as good as Devgru or Delta, that's why a Seal who wants to join Devgru has to go through more qualifications and more training then regular Seals have. Robert J. O'Neill himself has stated in interviews that regular seals who join the Devgru program have a 50% dropout rate and that's some really tough guys as they pass Buds and seals selection programs, but still 50% of those fail Devgru selection. and that's not my words but Robert J. O'Neill words, and i believe he as a Devgru operator was as you say "In the known".

One of my best friends is a polish, And he served in grom for about 1-2 years. After being shot in the leg during a riot (I think thats what happened.) and now is retired. I must say, S.A.S And Grom are the most elite forces i've seen.

If something like that is asked, then it must have gone around thatthese Polish Polish special forces unit is first class. By the way, one of the answers is. "Because this is one of the best special unit in the world. Polish GROM is in the same league as British SAS, US Navy Seals and Delta Force." Another answer is: "The unit has one of the highest recruitment standards of all special forces out there, and as a result, soldiers are professional and incredibly skilled. They can partake in missions during a crisis, disaster relief, in a war zone and during peacetime. The group is trained in urban, underwater and mountain warfare." By the way, GROM soldiers gained the nickname of "The Surgeons" by special forces unit of other nations due to their extensive medical training and medical knowledge also because of their surgical ability what a special feature for such a military special forces unit. Which was also briefly mentioned in the video! The Grom soldiers see themselves in the tradition of the Cichociemni which was a Polish special forces unit of World War II.The unit's name means "Silent Unseen" which were very useful properties for a unit operating in German-occupied Poland. These were the best of the best and very appropriate as a role model for one of the best special forces units from today. Also the P anchor badge is a reference to the Cichociemni. At 1:16 one can clearly see the P anchor badge and the tribute at 2:59! Because the P anchor is the symbol for Polska Walcząca (PW) translated that means fighting Poland. Fighting Poland was the motto of the Polish underground state and the Polish resistance army "Armia Krajowa" led by the Polish government in exile. In 1940 Polish Squadron 303 has saved UK they were best in RAF. And our tanks divisions has destroy lots of germans tank. German called our soldiers "black devils" but after all we've sold to USSR. In past centuries we were one of the greatest countries in the world for example Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth but our problem lays in our geography because every war we've benn lost it was something like Poland vs USSR & Nazi Germany & Slovakia or maybe Poland vs Russia & Austia & Prussi. But when war was 1v1 we always victorious for example Warsaw 1920 Polish army has crushed Soviet invaders
