Grooming a Difficult Dog with His Mom

Toby is a 16 year old Shihtzu /Chihuahua mix and it is impossible to get a muzzle on him especially without stressing him out and since he has heart issues we want to keep him as calm as possible so I let his mom stay and help because he is better when she's there and helps. This isn't the case with all dogs because sometimes the owner can increase difficult behavior just by being present, it can cause the dog to become more stressed, wiggly, antsy or even defensive of their owner so every dog is different. In this case I found it more helpful to have his owner present then not for the sake of his behavior and health, Watch til the end to see how cute he looks and Thanks Fur Watching!
