Grooming my bearded collie (Part 1: Zohra)

This is amazing - I have tried to get my Bearded Collie used to me grooming her from a very young age but she doesn't like it and I have to chase her around and do small bits at a time. It's a nightmare. This Bearded Collie is so placid and just lies there and allows itself to be groomed. Fantastic!

do you trim her legs? I have a beardie girl and keep her legs trimmed now. the breeders have let their coats get too long in my opinion, unlike the working beardies.

Hello, I only trim there paws but not there legs. They are no show type, so they don't have that much hair :-)

My Beardie would never sit there and be groomed! it was like a perpetual daily hairy doggy vs human wresteling match!

I started learning them from the first day i had them, at 8 weeks old.

My lad came to us from a farm and was almost feral... Took me 2 weeks to get anywhere near a brush, he was going berserk. Now he falls asleep during his daily groom on his grooming table... A lot of hours put in but so worth it and I enjoy it as much if not more than Mac 🐕

Geweldig wat ik begrepen heb is dat ze heel weinig verharen, maar moet je ze elke dag borstelen of 1x per week

Je hebt er inderdaad amper haarverlies van in huis. Als er al haar ligt verzamelt het zich in hoopjes. Ik borstel ze 1 x per week. Dat is voldoende voor hen.
