Hi Kitty! Could I get a nice look on my Maltese/Shitzu if I used a cordless clipper with a comb attachment first to remove a lot of the hair instead of doing a full scissor cut? And then finish with scissoring the body with comb and shears?

Hi Susan , thank you for your feedback en question , Yes of course this is possible , however i didn't do that for 2 reasons: this is really a very very young dog , so i prefer to scissor the whole coat . The other reason is in other video's i have made , i am using a lot of the snap on combs on different coat types , so this time , in this video , i wanted to show to scissor the whole coat . Very important for the dogs life of their grooming routine. I've had a poodle who was a dream to groom now I have a rescue yorkie that's a horror. He's getting better but if the original owner had treated the dog better it would be so much better.

I really want dog a tea cup silky terrier all female. I never want and more dogs. As long as my babies are alive I put my want aside.

Hello Lex, thank you for your question , the reason is not specific for not using any whitening shampoo . this is a young dog and the coat is really white , so we prefer to use a moisturizing shampoo instead of lighten up the color . as an experienced groomer of 45 yrs you are way too heavy handed around the mouth and nose,you are digging your fingers in and while i can appreciate at this critical stage we dont want any dog to move all you need to do is gently hold the face or cradle the face in the palm of your hand. Also the puppy needs a rest after the bath and dry and telling it throughout thats it's a good boy or girl wouldn't hurt.
