Hi Morgan. This looks on the surface pretty damn excellent 👌 What are the limitations ? What can you do to stop being locked into a range/style? Can you swap sounds or locke into the presets? Do you need serum?

I’m not getting the same bass sound when I resample the midi. I resample the midi notes, find the bass sounds and hold “alt” (windows user) and drag the sound over but it’s not sounding the same as when on the groove generator…. Any suggestions?

Try transposing it up or down an octave, and or copying the processing and side chain :)

I bought this. But my saved variations are not playing. I hit random, then "new" and then I go to my variations. The only thing it plays back is the scale select. On the random racks I've created. I am able to hit the random button. Then I can save the setting when I push new. Which creates a new variation. Then I can create as many variations I want. Then I can name them and play them back. My Groove Generator 2 is not doing this. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I hella support FOMO. Good dudes doing good stuff. I bought the first GG. But heads up, you can make your own GGs and customize them to taste. Just open up the first one up to see what they did. I've made a few GGs with my other sample packs with varying degrees of customization. For sure going to get the 2nd sample pack when it comes out though!

i was working on it when the first groove generator was released. unfortunately, i got stuck when trying to program a randomize button to also hold its position (more like an on/off switch). I'm still unsure how to create something similar in patcher .
