Once again, superb stuff guys. Black Sabbath is my favorite band, so I'm always a bit nervous when it's tackled. There is something magical about them and I couldn't agree more Old Head when you commented on the physical and emotional reaction you get from the riffs and 'metal' riffs in general. You mentioned Hip Hop, this and metal are the only 2 genres that truly give me that feeling too. Very powerful music. I describe riffs like 'Snowblind' and 'Touching the Void' as unwordly (if the word exists lol). Another song you'll appreciate that I think fits into the same category Old Head, is 'The Frayed Ends of Sanity' by Metallica. Where do these riffs come from?

Talking about Vol. 4 I think Under The Sun is even heavier. And, Holy cow, it's 1972!!! Soulfly covered it and it sounds as fresh as anything from 2000's.

I'm watching the Master of Reality bit and it's too funny : I knew this would happen from the moment I saw the title of the video and thought "why do they do this to themselves?". Why put yourself in such a difficult and painful situation ? I suggest Judas Priest next to recover from this strenuous endeavor : way easier ! You can always rely on them for one crappy song on each album and we could even hear Steve sing the chorus to "Loch Ness" again which I would pay good money for.
