Listened to this about 5 times now in its entirety and what a stunning little musical journey so much going on and so futuristic is this creation. Everything from start to finish just totally worked and for you to perform it live while still creating is truly something else indeed. I would actually buy this track if it was released,,I love it!!...thank you so much for sharing,,it’s so appreciated!!!

Kinda Schulzelike in its solos ,kinda TD in places but not a derivative by any means. Truly, a sophisticated,intricate piece of beautiful soundscape. Dzieki wielkie. Or rather “dzwieki wielkie”.

Sofa King Special! Really nice to hear so many intricate sounds and elements, such a great sonic palette, great phrasing - nice expansive background pad, etc..... ....and yet it's still so open and inviting. So many Deluge uploads seem overly busy and frantic - this definitely has a late night, chill vibe. Would be great for driving, or a soundtrack. The perfect balance of stillness and movement, soundscape and percussion, focus and blurrrrr..... Great upload. Feel free to check out a couple of my Deluge uploads - I think we have share common ground.

Can the Deluge send CC such as MSB LSB & Program Change to the MC 707? I know the MC has CC but not sure if for out or in as is a bit unclear. Changing sounds & having the looping arrange mode etc on the Deluge whilst triggering the MC 707 without having to change sounds manualy would be great. Track sounds awesome.

Loved the hypnotic melodic music I am relatively new to electronic music and am considering the purchase of the Deluge, MC-707 or both. Money isn't the hold up, although spending foolishly is always to be avoided.. Knowing how they work together would be allow me to make an informed decision.. Seems most online information considers the two products competitors, so I am curious what benefits having both allow you. In any case, I would love to hear what equipment you used to make this inspirational music.. I would be years away from having the knowledge and skills to simulate your sounds, but perhaps this info could send me on the right path, along with listening to your music. Thanks
@willjosef80874 жыл бұрын
I would say buy both if you can afford it... MC-707 for the amazing sounds and effects... Deluge for the almost unlimited no. of tracks, arrangement possibilities and much better "song mode". I envy those who have both machines. :)
@jadisperdu94123 жыл бұрын
Or MC-101 for the presets and deluge for the rest.

Nice to hear some new "old school" music from you. And this track sounds great. I must admit that with your Goa ambitions you have lost me a little as a fan. But it's your music and everyone who has the talent should do what they personally like. By the way: The sequence reminds me a bit of the second half of TD's "Horizon" from the "Poland" album. Only much slower. :)

Really wonderful! How are the MC-707 and the Deluge audio and midi connected?
@vanderson_pl4 жыл бұрын
sorry I just saw today this question ;) So, both machines are connected only MIDI in/out to sync tempo. Audio outputs are send to mixer.

Hi Vanderson, great jam!! This proves that grooveboxes can do much more than beats and tunztunz. Very dark atmospheric piece!! Do you remember how many tracks did you use in the MC-707? Do you think it can be replicated on the smaller MC-101 and their 4 tracks? All the sounds are from the MC-707, or did you use some sounds from the Deluge also? Thanks a lot and keep up the good work!!
@vanderson_pl4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for comment. From MC-707 I play only Rhodes intro, synth solo, cymbals, one fx and background pad/strings. The rest are from Deluge. For me even eight tracks in MC-707 is sometimes not enough... so i think it's better to collect some money and buy MC-707.
@Moon_Vibex4 жыл бұрын
@@vanderson_pl Thanks a lot, so there are more than 4 tracks and some sounds are from the Deluge also. Apart the 8 tracks, another big advantage of the 707 is the easier user interface. Many users complaint that in the 101 there is too much menu diving, so moving and editing clips is not so easy. The accessibility of the synth engine is also a big difference: it seems that in the 101 you don't have full controls of the synth parameters, while on the 707 yes (can you confirm?). Thanks a lot.
@vanderson_pl4 жыл бұрын
@@Moon_Vibex MC-101 and the MC-707 have the same core sound engine but MC-101 gives you more limited access to changing that sound engine’s parameters and creating your own presets.

Excellent work Vanderson. Is this piece completely Dawless? Seems a lot of folks are turning the page back to hardware sequencing. The Deluge looks great. .

@@vanderson_pl Got it Vanderson. Appreciate the reply. Looks like a great tool!

Shit. I skipped on both devices for some reason. 707 for the somewhat muddy basic sound and Deluge because of the weird interface with almost no display. Now I'm thinking, just these two! It's just awesome what you (!) can get out them. Do you think this makes a complete live setup, maybe together with a small controller keyboard?
@vanderson_pl4 жыл бұрын
MC-707 has a set of more useful sounds, good for more commercial genres (sasses, pianos, guitars, strings, flutes etc.) and good effects. Interfaces are not simple in use like Deluge, but have sliders and fully configurable knobs. The LCD is not very big and there is a lot of information and submenus. Deluge has more analog sound and good sampling. Fantastic interface and unlimited number of tracks (sequencer are magic and is is a very strong point in this machine). Deluge need effects processor with more capanbilities especially better reverb and delay.
@marcusfreeweb4 жыл бұрын
Vanderson official Do you think the basic sound of the 707 is fine? I feel like there is some muffle or fluff going on in the heights. The Deluge sounds proper, more clear to me. I love the basic sound of the Digitakt.
@vanderson_pl4 жыл бұрын
@@marcusfreeweb certainly in MC-707 some sounds are weaker and more digital, but you can make really interesting sounds using 4 oscillators/patch... Deluge works completely differently :) that's why, as I said, it's hard to compare both machines
@jakewheeler90274 жыл бұрын
How would you compare the 707 and deluge?
