Groovy Cab Beginner Wire Wrap Ring

I really like this design. I made a great ring from a labradorite I bought from you. I HOPE that one day you make a video of a similar ring, but this time with a drilled rough stone. I bought some drilled turquoise slabs, which I'd really like to show off with some nice sterling wire. I bought some 14 gauge wire and then some smaller gauges. The stones are drilled the LONG way, for the most part. Going to be a challenge! But your groovy cabs ARE fabulous and I recommend this video for them.

I am not very sure about the different types of stones that people use to make something with different types of stones that they have out today I started last year when I got into trying to make different and I started to get the hang of making small items like a few different types of rings ,watching different people showing beginners how to start to make rings, bracelets ,earrings and necklace. I went to different stores and bought most of the tools to make these items and I just couldn't get it. I really just bought mostly every tools needed for making jewelry, for the life of me I couldn't understand why I JUST cant get it. Now I came across your videos and omg I can't believe I want to try again 😩 I just was at Michael's to buy different types of stones to make the Christmas spiders and I don't know much about the stones. Can I get these stones at one of the stores that sells stones or do I have to buy them on line? Thank you for taking time to read what I did but I love these beautiful rings 💍. Thank you again. Hi Yvonne!! Love the grooved stones. An idea for a ring would be to make an adjustable one. Don't put the loop on the one side, just wrap the wire around and then twist like usual. Once on the other side just do outward or inward loops (heart shaped).

Somehow, dont think it is very strong stable. If any pressures push it, it will fall out of this simple frame. Just qurious about this.

This design has held up well for myself and our customers. The groove cut into the stone holds the wire nicely.
