Thank-you so much for this 2-5-1 progression lesson seeming exactly sort of tailored for myself in my mid seventies being a novice beginner and yet determined to strive + struggling to try and reach somewhere along the intermediate level or if I'm lucky God permitting mayhaps closer to an advanced level before I'd eventually return to dust where we all came from. 🙂 You are a wonderful teacher, truly one of the best I've ever learned from online. And I also like your name reminiscing of the good man Jason found in the Letter to Romans written by the Apostle Paul two millennia ago. 🙂 Romans 16:21 (NIV) 🙂 [21] Timothy, my co-worker, sends his greetings to you, as do Lucius, Jason and Sosipater, my fellow Jews. 🙂

Can we use all the notes of a chord chords in our right hand in 251 as a block chords
@nathanielschool8 күн бұрын
You can Dipanshu. But if you play these at faster speeds, then it might help to break them up in order to bring our the rhythm better!

Write out the pattern for both hands and play them together *very slowly* until you get used to the feel and sound of the pattern. I mean really slow. Instead of writing dotted notes, write it out as single notes tied together when needed so that all notes are the same size and distance from each other so you can see what lines up with what. You do not need to write the notes on a staff if it is easier to just write the letter name on top of the note symbol.
