That's one way to do it. As a 25-year Marine veteran who has had to do this in combat utilizing soviet era weapons, I have a few alterations that will ensure a smoother reload. First of all, place the butt of the rifle on the ground, allow the barrel to be seated between your thighs, pointing towards your groin. (At this point, the hotter the barrel the better because this will allow the weapon to melt/be seated and to thereby gain greater stability). At this point, you lift on one leg (like a stork) and with the inside of your dominant foot shoot it down to the ground at a slightly offset angle with at least 32 lb of foot force in order to charge the weapon. Eazy peezy, my friend.

I though he is going to do the reload as we did in Finnish army back in the days. Punching the rifle stock hardly to the ground so the bolt carrier group goes down and chamber the bullet when coming back up. Works every time with RK 95 TP (AK47 copy manufactured by Sako). There is also some videos of that in youtube if you are interested to see is it really working (can be done with older 62 model also).

Little known fact: the firing line was off the right side of the screen. Look at the distance markers on the wall behind them. Under combat stress you will not be able to see bystanders. It's ok, just go with it. It's on people to stay out of the way.

When you use a loaded mag to eject the old mag everything just gets really confusing, so just drop it on the ground and then dynamically and effectively use your gross motor skill reload skills to their fullest kinesthetic potential and then power stroke and gas it up and go.

I almost thought this was real until he reloaded from the belt. I had my doubts when he threw the loaded mag on the ground, but the belt thing got me laughing. What he should have worked in was the fact that if you cant use your hands, you cant hold the weapon and have to either have a wingman do it for you or use your feet to pull the trigger.

This just came full circle back on my suggested videos. I’ve been practicing this daily since 3 years ago. His AK is so operator, A) Buy Krebs Customs handguard *set*, comes with handguard and gas tube rail. B) Ditch the top rail C) Machine the handguard so that it no longer has the mounting points for the Krebs rail mentioned above which interferes with new rail. D) Buy Ultimak rail for Krink E) Mount light onto the top rail and not use any of the keymod rail for mounting lights. F) Covers handguard with NcStar Vism cover so the keymod holes wont irritate his hand. When you could have just used the Russian plastic handguard and have the same setup as he currently does with an Ultimak rail, or he could keep the original Krebs set and stuck the light on the keymod... I like the effort. I'm copying him.
