Gross Over $20K Selling Grass Fed Beef WITHOUT Raising Cattle!
We sell grass fed beef, A LOT of grass fed beef but we don't have the infrastructure or land to keep cows on a scale that would be profitable for us. Listen in as we talk about how we gross over $20K per year without any cattle on our farm.

Have you ever tried to make a steakhouse style burger by grinding and blending different cuts of beef together into one thick luxurious patty? George Motz did tutorial using a 50/50 blend of chuck and dry aged ribeye.

Sounds like a win-win, great for building lasting partnerships. Since you bring in the beef vs raise it, I'm curious if you do you anything different with the packaging/labeling of the beef vs your pork & poultry?

What brand is your stock trailer? We're looking for one and yours looks nice
@SheratonParkFarms

It’s an Adam brand trailer. If you can find one at a reasonable price I’d recommend going aluminum instead of steel. It’s lighter weight and going to last much longer.

Amazing, born on that farm and has never lived anywhere else. Now when kids never leave their parents, it's not because they're hard working and want to be successful...

@@greenboyatgafarms2250 have you watched the actual beef market? Not a retail store but the live, living, animal and the real process? I buy and sell livestock. I talk with others that do the same as me. The top five international buyers of beef have not been buying up much. There is an influx of beef at lower and lower cost. The ranchers will not sell their cattle at loss. The united states government is pushing to eradicate the beef subsidies for climate change. Cow farts bad narrative. What do I know. I'm just a simple farmer that owns his own ranch and mucks shit for a living.

@@SheratonParkFarms I picked up a mare in December and just got a Jerusalem donkey today. I'm almost set for 1904 travel, no gas. I dont know if you are feeling the gas crunch, but it does not seem like it will be getting better or stable soon. Take care, make smart long term choices. This is a critical time for everyone to be more self sufficient.

@@akwolf1434 in Florida solar works great. Very durable. Lots of sunshine. Pigs do fly. The mongol invaders catapulted dead pigs over walls to spread diseases. Biological warfare with flying pigs. If only florida could harness the power of the hurricanes. That's real wind power.

Little of topic but going back to a comment I made about crates for sows. The gilt I had been waiting on finally had eleven pigs ,she is the worst mother I have ever had she has no mothering instinct (white confinement) got her because local butchers prefer white pigs for easy scalding so people asked for white piglets. She walked around the pen I had her in (3coops in it)dropping pigs without a care,I picked them up put them in coops and eventually got her in coop she would only lay on her stomach and not let the pigs nurse. She is going to freezer camp. Mothering is a hereditary trait and crates hide things! Fifty plus years with hogs and can say I’ve seen them be grouchy till labor ends,lay on pigs,and so on never had one with as many strikes against it as this one not going into every thing don’t need or want the hateful comments, but this is basic reproduction and if the can’t then we need to eliminate them if others are getting in right under the same conditions!

Good point. That is with we are trying to select for those good mothering instincts, to make things easier on us while still having good production. Appreciate y’all watching
