I've watched a few ascents like the Matterhorn or Eiger, but my god, does this looks scarier than any of the ones I've watched. The part right before the Kleinglockner summit with only the snow catching you looks terrifying.

Very nice shots, I hope to be able to conquer it one day myself! What language do you speak?

It's not a very technical mountain. Grade 1-2 scrambling and some short parts a little harder. If experienced, you can go solo. But if not, it is really dangerous. I soloed it after 9 4000+ summits and some other stuff of experience. The only place I remember getting some adrenaline was the snow ridge between the summits. A little exposed without rope. Otherwise calm and controled all the way.

What's the point of the rope if the leader is not placing any protection? Do you think you're going to hold only with your bodyweight if someone else falls? Going solo is more reasonable in this case

We used the fixed anchors (metal rods) on the most exposed points and otherwise relied on natural anchors (rocks). It felt quite safe on the whole climb. The "fisheye effect" on the GoPro makes it look much more exposed than it really is.

If he had fallen at the saddle, rope or not all 3 were going with him.
