I miss that show so much!!! Loved it as a kid. It may have had some little cringe moments as a kid, but all the action, laughs, and animation was incredible. This show was the GOAT. I may have been grossed out with some stuff in the show, mostly Fartor’s backstory, but this show was always the GOAT. This was one of my favorite in-school shows alongside The Magic School Bus, Bill Nye and Kenny the Shark. And whenever I saw this show’s opening animation, it always legitimately reminded me of The Incredibles. Come to think of it, this show felt like a mix of The Incredibles and Kim Possible. We’d sometimes watch this show during science class, or during indoor recess if there was inclement weather. This show was the GOAT. I think the dark episodes are Fartzilla and Silent But Deadly (both parts) because Fartor’s backstory was very scary though. He used to share a bedroom with his brother, Gary. One day, their relationship severed permanently when he started pranking his brother every night by stuffing him in a blanket and farting on him, even when they went camping he shoved his brother in a tent and farted on him too much. His lungs adapted to the poisons emissions of his brother’s bowels, and he couldn’t breathe fresh air anymore, kinda like a fish out of water, clean air is bad for him, so he had a suit that helps him breathe those farts…he captured Ty and corrupted him into FarTy by strapping him on a tray and placing a blanket and exposing him to his gas, within MINUTES of possessing him. If I had a nickel for every time a 13yo was possessed in a kids cartoon, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice, right? The second time it happened, it was with Marcy in Amphibia. She was 13 and got possessed by a computer monster called “The Core”.

Loved it as a kid as well! And as an adult! I also agree that it had some cringe moments, but it didn't matter because the show overall was amazing, animation, jokes, the theme song!! And yes! The show does have some superhero/secret agent vibes, and that was because the show came out in a time where teen secret agents were very relevant to kids, so yes, it did take inspiration from kim possible! Another show I also loved! And that is so cool you got to watch it at school, I bet it was an amazing experience! Best shows IMO. Oooooh yes yes, I did re watch that episode, yes I agree the backstory was pretty dark, even changing the character in every aspect, kinda like a mutation, so yeah like in genetic mutation or body alterations, yes, it is pretty dark now that I think of it, the 2nd part I haven't watched yet, but wow Ty getting possesed? Now that's something I gotta see! It's always interesting to see when a character switches sides, and lol yeah, it is kinda weird to see that in a kid's cartoon, although I do remember seeing a possesed ash in pokemon, not sure if that counts, and oh ok, I haven't watched amphibia, but once I finish watching Grossology I might take a peek at it as well, thank you so much for taking your time to talk a bit more of this amazing show! As you said, it is the GOAT!
