Dreads are the best, wearing it natuarlly for all to see and take notice from. Still I'm gouing to cut mine in the new years. I'll leave a stub and - if I can find one - one fully matured dreadlock. But right now they seem to have grown into a cohersion that might leave me powerless as to retain even just one, They are like a rope growing from the back of my head.

I don't gave any Grot Tanks so I can't tell the scale but some 1/72 scale tanks might be good for harvesting tracks and other parts for kitbashing. The best part is that Armourfast and some other companies make them cheap.

Grot tanks are in 8th but are they officially tournament legal ? I was dirt poor as a kid so I couldn't afford warhammer so I just used to admire it through the window and looking in cabinets. Now that I've got a wallet that child back then can smile and nod.

You get lots of grot tank items on thingsverse. I designed a set of tracks myself to fit to some of the designs already there. Well worth a look if you or a friend have a 3D printer

Commenting on a year old video, hopefully this does get read! Hi! Love the channel! On the first question about Alternating Activations system in gaming, you mentioned wanting to see how that would play out with larger units, instead of just single models. Well, I don't know if you've run into it in the mean time, but there is a game called Grimdark Future, made by One Page Rules. It's a very streamlined system that's mini-agnostic (even if it's mainly just played with GW miniatures) and it notably uses alternating activation, with players taking turn activating units, with a round only ending when every unit has had a go (even if the unit just stays in place and does nothing). You can find some battle reports of it here on KZbin, and guess what - the Ork army list does have the Grot Tank as a possible unit, so that's fun!

@@DreadWaaaghGaming If you look on Wyloch's Armory channel, he does a bunch of battle reports for Grimdark Future, and I think he mentioned there's one with orks in the future too. So that can give you a good idea on where the game is right now, and of course the rules are still free, so you can just pick them up and go through them.

Dear Dread, I’m thinking about going to Warhammer world at the end of the month and I’m thinking of treating myself to a centerpiece model for my army. I’m thinking of getting a Gorkanut/Morkanut or a forge world Mega dread. In your Orky wisdom, which one would you go for?

Ok so, da Gorkamorkanaut is probably available for many years to come and is commonplace/easy to obtain anywhere. Whereas FW have terrible habit of dropping models with little warning and that mega dread is on my own "must buy soon list" so I'd personally go for that. Sure itll need pinning, it'll be harder to convert...but it's some gorgeous details and you may as well grab it while you can. I'm still also after the closed cab truck and half track and the kommandos kit myself too, I dont see them being around much longer either

I’ll have to ask the staff about the rules as I think it doesn’t have a entry in the Xenos armour book (what I’ve read online was you use the Meka dread rules, don’t know how true that is).
