Adding to the Lois is in coma theory, I think some of the characters are people that Lois has interacted with in her real life. For example, in the coma Red is a nurse but the real world she was the husband's mistress. Ed is a guardian angel in her coma. In the real world maybe he was a casualty of her drunk driving. Who knows, throwing things out there to see what sticks. 🤷🏽‍♀😆

I think Lois is in a coma and her reality keeps peaking through - like in the scene with her daughter filming herself. She asked "whats this hospital curtain doing here" and then she saw a glimpse of a hospital worker through the curtain. And I think Nurse Red is trying to get Lois to sign over the soul of her husband. Maybe Lois had drunkenly shot her husband one night when she found him cheating. Maybe her daughter is dead too? We don't see her anywhere except at home and she doesn't interact with anybody - doesn't even answer the phone when its ringing. I think Ed maybe an angel? And he can see her daughter because they're both not alive? Because the nun referenced Laclan's writing and that he was "dead"....

I don't think it it real either. Espescially when her and Travis left the hospital and his car was the only one in the entire parking lot. That was odd to me. Also, are the officers that incompetent that the captain would rather her work the case while being piss ass drunk????

Lois is in the coma, and her husband is the killer. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it. Kelce is St. Michael - protector and guardian. Father Charlie is just plain crazy. I see Eddie and Charlie as opposites. I think Lois is getting help in her coma, and will come out of it to solve the case.

At the beginning of episode 1, the bedroom curtains catch on fire. We've seen her pass out drunk more than once. I think she passed out while smoking and caught the house on fire. My theory is the fire killed her and her family and she's in hell. The nun is playing Charon, the ferryman and Eddie is like a Virgil. She's not experiencing the cirles of hell one at a time like Dante, but she's "living" them. They harp a lot on the husband being a philosophy professor so all of this being in Lois's subconscious tracks.

My theory is that Lois is either dead or in the coma. I think Merrit is dead as well because I noticed that we only see her as Lois’s house. I think Eddie is really a guardian angel of some sort. Cause you never see him interact with anyone else besides Lois, Other than when she asked him to watch over Merrit. In that moment we see him and Merrit argue but again if they are dead and an angel then that would make sense that they are able to interact. Also I think Megan is an extension of Lois some how, bc what was the chances that Lois cuts on the radio and the same song is on the radio. Now where father Charlie fits in idk. And I think the killer is another extension of Lois

Once again, your review was more entertaining than the actual episode 🤣 I liked episode 3 much, much more than the first two. I couldn't pinpoint why, but then I saw on IMDB that Ryan Murphy directed it. The writing was still bad, but seasoned directors know how to polish a turd, lol. Unfortunately he's only credited as directing episode 3. 🫤
