It took me 3 years to complete These beautiful Quilttop. I hohe it doesn't Tage 3 more years for quilting 😅. Thank you Angela for easing me in moments of despair! Whenever my points didn't match or my border became friendly, I just had to watch your videos and voilà: finished is better than perfect 😉.

Angela, I enjoyed this video, appreciate the lessons shared and am blown away by the beauty of this quilt. I look forward to watching many more of your late night quilting videos. Thank you for sharing your talents in video production, set design, great channel concept and episode creativity, amusing commentary, great tutorials, and all focused on leading the beautiful quilt construction parade at midnight. Staying up late just gets more and more justifiable! ❤ 🎉❤

Wow, Angela!!! From my angle, that block looks like a faceted gem stone, until I uncross my eyes, quit squinting and look at it head-on. Beautiful!!! I know I'm somewhat delayed in commenting, but I've finished watching all your "newest" videos and have gone backwards to watch the older ones I've missed. What an education!! Thanks so much for sharing everything you do!!

i sill go back to these quilts cos they are really interesting, and i looove this one, fabric and the desin, and quilting, even not easy at all to make. however, gotta say that croatia is not nearly tropical yet- even tho we just had a monsoon type of rain- it is in the adriatic, close to greece, actually...i hope these episodes are coming back soon, doviđenja

Beautiful quilt as always Angela! I say we embrace our imperfections, don't point them out to anyone, and move on. Whoever gets a quilt as a gift won't care. And if you are quilting to put something in a quilt show and be judged, well then, more power to you. I am amazed at the quality of piecing and long arm quilting whenever I go to any quilt show. But mine are more low key, loved a bunch and used often. Keep the videos coming! I always end up smiling - which is a good thing.....

I love your tutorials Angela, I am home bound 80% of the time on my own but if I want to feel as if there is someone to talk to I must admit even if I'm not making the item you are I watch and listen and join you in a glass. Thankyou for your classes they mean the world to me and for helping grow in my skills so raise a glass and cheers 😏🤩 oh and i fell out of my wheelchair and laid on the floor until my husband came in and now I'm banned from drinking wine when quilting, really don't you think it's overkill, I mean anyone could fall out of their wheelchair can't they? I just looked this grotto up and the June through October water temps are in the 70s and 80s; that's tropical enough for me! The island where this grotto is found is in-between mainland Croatia and Italy. Looks like a fun destination. :D

Another great tutorial. It makes a beautiful quilt. I love the quilting design you used on it. It accents all the curves of the quilt. That's the idea right? lol I can't believe the difference it makes on a quilt top once you get it quilted. Hi Louise, please don't think you can't do it. I have MS blind in one eye and poor vision in the other and my grandchildren and husband find it hilarious that as I walk along all they hear is ouch, ooh, etc because walls leap right in to me! I'm telling you this because I got a beautiful Memory Craft machine for Christmas December 2016. I broke out in a cold sweat but with Craftsy and these videos I waited until late at night and taught myself. The key for me is knowing exactly where everything is, having the best tools. I bought some adaptable rulers/templates that have a finger guard (because on my first attempt with a rotary cutter I didn't know it wasn't locked and sliced off the pad of my first finger it didn't hurt at first I was more worried about getting blood on my fabric ) underneath the ruler set there are also the lines and marks for angles and inches that I can see with my fingers and multiple things to add on that I don't use. I sit and do every cut and lay them out in the order I need them on a board. That is the hardest bit but I put my ipad on a movie or something and just enjoy me time. Then it's just sewing. If I can do it my lovely you can.! Really I'm capable of making beautiful quilts but fall off my chair and lay there until someone finds me that's the hardest part lol.

I love how you embrace your imperfections. Sometimes we get stuck on wanting everything to be so perfect that the fear of it stops us from creating at all! The alpha stickers are a great idea. I think the thing that would worry me about this quilt is that those blues are so close in color and I'd mix them up. I wish that Craftsy would take more time with you to show more/longer closeups of your quilting.

People need to lighten up about where Croatia is. Obviously it's not tropical but the fabric prints and colors are and apparently the grotto they refer to must be this beautiful blue with a tropical look. That doesn't mean Angela is wrong or doesn't know where Croatia is. Geez!! Angela, the quilt is awesome, I love that curved look without all the fuss of sewing an actual curve.
