That's exactly my situation with the adapter ..touch sensitive.. .. as seen in your vid... The dongle of DD is only attached to the RX side it seems .. the thicker wounding..there is only one dongle within plus another ferrite over the join of the other cable to coil. The DD coil is more of cancel coil than true DD coil ..

What winding types are on the Coiltek Goldhawk 6000 coils, Can these coils be switched to 5 pin for running on the modded detectors since they have lot's of sensitivity.

I have never opened one of these up but I would suspect that could if you can connect the shield wire to the outer braid of the cable, why not just rewind an old Minelab coil with heavy litz wire, people need to experiment or we will forever be at the mercy of what we are offered, not what we want.
