So glad to see they knocked out backspace hipster D bag coffee place and took it over... They was owned by the same people so only logical after everyone stopped going to backspace. I miss groundkontrol even though the patrons was all D bags, much like everyone living in that hell hole of a city now... Glad I left :D

Hey I loved Backspace! It was open super late and was fun to hang out in! Portland is now sorely lacking in late-night options.

@@jzen1455 Nah, Backspace was the coffee place that was owned by the same people and was next door with the front door pointing to the Max rail line. Your thinking of GroundKontrol. Backspace was never open past 8pm iirr cuz thats when the Burnside bums would start there trek to the soup kitchen.
