Who's ready for a totally new season and experience for SPT here on the Gamer Visuals channel? I decided to create a character and backstory this time around to make it a bit more immersive.
Character: Jack Mercer, a USEC operator, is stoic, pragmatic, and loyal, shaped by military service and the harsh realities of Tarkov.

Rules for SP Tarkov S3:
-when jack is “incapacitated” he is dragged to a random area of the map by friendly scavs and left with just basic equipment for survival. (pistol, basic med kit, food/water)
-Must escape to get back to his hideout and rearm.
-scav runs can only be used when jack is in dire need of help

Fun fact about SPT and these mods: when you wound a Scav & they vanish, it’s because they run off to their “extract”, just like you did. I’ve ran a radar mod and watched ones I wound, like the Jaeger quest for chest or leg shots… run off map and vanish. Extracted.

At 1:10:00 when you killed the PMC with Knights mask, that's a feature of ALP I think. PMCs have a chance to spawn with one or two items outside of their respective trader pool, it's meant to simulate them finding an item in a raid previously and running it. In this example, the PMC must have killed the goons in a previous raid and is now running their kits, like you would if you as a player did that. Personally, I like it, but it can be turned off in the config. Great video as always : )

Good work bro. Loved the RP intro from Ep.1. A little hint for the stairwell with all the razor wire on Ground Zero. Vault on to the hand rail and walk up. It will avoid the need to med every time.

Man EP1 and 2 have given me the drive i needed to finally give this game a go. I bought it 2 months ago and due to IRL and the learning curve i have put off playing. But I got SPT setup on the same version as this video (no mods though, figured id try it first without), and now that i see how the flow of a new fresh character works I think i can finally give it a shot. (also put a few dozen hours into Zero Sievert just so i can understand the whole extraction shooter thing a bit better)

You can climb up onto that window ledge, go left on the ledge to the corner. Jump to a pavilion roof, then to the ground, to run short to the car extract. Pop a pain med *first* because you will break 1-2 legs. To get into the quest room 4 without the key you can go via room 3, the ledge… And to exfil the rooms with shortest exposed run, go out room 3 window & go left. … since you’re gonna be running this map a bit. That room has a Lot of file cabinets and decent computers to loot. Might get a graphics card, but at least you get tech loot for hideout or those drives for backpack barters… Gg.

Press armor is a good starter. Can swap,plates. But when you get strength up the blue ones are all good. Heavy tho. I love to run in the 3x3 rigs. Because when you inevitably loot a bigger rig, you can stuff the 3x3 in any pack to multiply space.

If you have SVM installed you bypass having Winter Mode as there’s a setting under “Raid”, I believe, where you can turn on winter, Halloween and Christmas stuff

Unknown Key is for the quest "The Extortionist" on Customs, it's one of your early Skier quests. There's a hard spawn on Customs near RUAF Gate, but it's a good idea to hold onto it and just take it in, just in case you spawn on the other side of the map or something.

There is a way to double up on your med hot keys. Bind hot key 4 to press and then rebind hot key 4 to hot key 5 slot for release. I use this for heavy bleed/light bleed meds. Then I do the same thing for hot key six press and release for slots 6/7 for med kits. Not sure anyone would care for this method but I like it as it’s a single push for bleeds or meds

yes, SPT is single player tarkov. Its a way to enjoy Tarkov without having to be online for hours and hours a day to play. It makes the game much more enjoyable too because you can customie it and create unique stories like I am with my playthrough. You can find all you need about how to get it by googling SPT AKI

FYI for those who care about performance: That's Lit sinks on average about 10-20 fps, due to how the mod functions (it spawns a camera that observes the player model). If you want a high framerate, and don't want to trade it, don't install it. It's a great mod for your immersion, but not so great for your performance.

Belts should take up the pocket slots, great way to add more space while still being balanced with the way it is in your play through I feel it makes no sense to put a utility belt around your arm to carry more stuff.

You're gonna wanna add the item IDs from the pack and strap belts to the item blacklist in algorithmic level progressions config json because there's a bug that causes the mags to not be put back into them when you reload when they're worn as a rig. This happens to the PMC bots too, so they run out of mags very quickly. The item IDs are: "belt_fannypack", "aerocorppistoleercombatbelt", "citadelgeneralpurposeutilitybelt", "pointmanassaultbelt", "polytechorionreconbelt", "lh63russianfederationdutybelt", "rebel9c", "rebel9g"

It’s just singleplayer. There is no intention on making co-op possible as it would be way to close to live and therefor mostlikely trigger problems with BSG that no one wants

You know what might add some flare to this, is to use a page that picks things at random, put all the guns and equipment you had on you at the time in it when dying, and then letting the page pick what things you get to keep... Make it like you were knocked out, and they looted you then dumped your body somewhere.

@@gamervisuals Yea, the problem with my idea is it's going to add a lot more time on you... You'd have to remember what all you had, enter it in, then close everything and use a profile editor to get it back.. It would be a lot of work and what you are doing is probably good enough for the story.

I have a little tip btw IF you want to have an easier time with meds you can bind 4 and 0 both to activate from the 4 Key by setting one to press and one to release and it allows you to press 4 to use your heavy bleed and light bleed meds from 1 keybind, opening up more keys for other items
