They added a hot spring that heals.... thats amazing but I think they can do one better..... hear me out..... buildable hot tub for your base! Use some of the everchar coal chunks, acorn shells, weed stems, lint rope and maybe even gum to make a little healing tub for your base after a long day of adventuring and almost being eaten by bugs. I'd love to see this!!!

The scarab Beatle is supposed to be a nod to the dark souls twinkling lizard. It runs from you then disappears and if you kill it fast you get a twinkling titanite shard that lets you level up your weapons more lol 😆.

It looks super cool! I'm just not a fan of fighting it. It's a nightmare to fight head on & it doesn't drop any new resources so there's really no reason to go near other than to look at it & hear the alien like sounds it makes lol.

The design of the area & the Black Ox Beetle are awesome. Those are the types of new additions I was expecting, I just wanted more of it. A lot of quality of life changes that are nice & always welcome. Customization is always a good thing. Being able to custom create my next playthrough is gonna be nice to try out.

The negativity was very focussed on specific changes and the videos all seemed to be pretty clear that they were about those changes rather than the entire update. I think that the issues needed to be addressed when they were because if the game stops being fun then the content added to the game would be diminished. It is usually a good idea to give some kind of well done to soften the blow of a critique but the changes were jarring enough that ettiquette might have softened the dislike and the subsequent alterations might not have been as good.

I started a new game for this update, and I don't think I could use the resource scanner until I finished the hedge lab. I think the cutscene when you turn on the power is what activates the scanners. Also, I deliberately built the way up to my oak tree base a bit away from the tree on the pond side so I could avoid the infected and regular wolf spiders. Right now the infected is stuck in a root. I don't go close enough to worry about it, and nothing has been problematic enough for me to reset, so I just left him there lol. I also somehow have a wolf spider stuck partway up the tree on the inside of it...but as it's a bit below where I put the nearest level, it doesn't aggro either so I just ignore the noises.

I really like the new area’s, I was half expecting some kind of refrigeration to come with it. Who knows maybe we'll still see it coming using the minty globs or gems, who knows.

It not the feedback that was a problem. It always how the feedback is presented. The KZbin videos was a little bit whining, too long, and too early. There is a way too show concerned without being a Debbie downer. It took only a few hours before there so much doomsaying and complaining while people were spreading the video. These changes are common among tests.

But he got upset saying if it wasn't for him and his videos no changes would happen to the game and made a potential subscriber not subscribe. Man that customize game part is awesome. The daily quest system for getting science is terrible imo. I like the survival/base building, but the missions are boring. I like unlocking things via the story missions, but having to save up raw science always rubbed me raw…. Yup. I did that.

The trick to scarabs is just walking. You'll have time to aim and shoot and if you 'walk' after they run you'll get many chances to aim and shoot again. At least this works for me. You do have to watch for other enemies being around of course.

Tip for infected wolf spiders: spicy coaltana. This thing *mows* through them. Also they can spawn anywhere that fungal growth takes over a natural spawn area for a wolf spider(such as under the shed deck next to the broken pots) They're honestly the creepiest infected imo, mostly due to the fricken EXPOSED INSIDES

Spicy Coaltana is okay but not the best. I tested all the best weapons against them and in order the best are: Mint Mace, Fresh Club of the Mother Demon, Fresh Black Ox Hammer, Crow Crossbow with Mint Arrows, Fresh Antlion Greatsword then Spicy Coaltana. It takes twice as many hits with the Coaltana to kill them than any of the other options listed.

I think things like the grinder and spinning wheel starting using the "Pull" feature last update. However more than 4 slots is new and a very welcome.

I am arachnophobic yet I still seem to like the spiders in grounded. I guess because it makes a good enemy for me. However I saw they added black widowlings under the tarp and then took them away just before the update went public. I am most frightened of black widows and I sort of dread the possibility of a black widow fight. However if they do add that it's web should be tier 4 rope. They have some of the strongest web of any spider.

They should add an unlock-able feature thru brgl that allows you to use the scanner remotely. The scan for certain bugs like the new green ones that run around all over will be gone by the time you get there. Either that or have the scan do live updates for you after you scan it.

Grinder only had 4 as well. I know because I have a brick farm, and I’m only using 3 grinders. And it uses 12 mushroom chunks at a time. But it yields 120 slurry’s

Im on xbox 1. Into the wood is awesome. Game is starting to break down tho. Multi player crashes or host being unable to invite friends. Invisible weapon(cool glitch) options not there in the workbench or inventory. The termite boss was cool. The green stink bug seems to get himself stuck in the ground or on the cap gun when it does that cool gas n dash attack. Scarabs were hard till we started using poison an super gas arrows to catch them. I think the new WOOD ambiance sounds like the Tropics and is now my favorite place to build at.
