In my experience, using the spider armor for the hyperstamina and buff lungs works great because you’re able to stay moving for much longer. A crossbow is a must too to keep your distance

I try the crossbow my favorite weapon, but even at max it doesn't do any damage to them, it's way too slow.

Here’s another tip: His hand when he does the smash down tells you what attack he gonna do, orange means laser and blue means Tesla pillar

This works sooo well I suggest antlion armor and use the save and load to keep you from losing your items or braking them.

Sadly, as of the Hot and Hazy update, you can't get augments until you beat the Assistant Manager as they are locked behind his key card. They didn't really think that through for Melee players...

You can definetly interrupt the laser drill/arc conductors attack move. If you hit him with enough damage whilst he's in the animation, he just won't set them off. I did find that there was more adds though

@@SirSim-Alot additional note: I noticed that if you use the correct damage type (stab, smash etc) the patch notes say that it causes "interrupt", so it could be that. Anyway, I used an ant club and it seemed to work 👍🏽

Yes I actually seen this and I wasn't sure what was gonna on There's also something going with the ants around the sandbox they like dropping out of the top of sandbox and there's so many there and in regular ant hill it's keeps dragging my game when I get close

I find it easier to kill the adds if you are using red ant club because you won't be killing him quick this allows you to stand in the middle when the arcing lightning is trying to kill you.

Having your main weapon and all that I also recommend having a crossbow with salt arrows during his yellow laser attack(and during blue) cause the salt did 50% damage and your able to keep a distance from him while staying in the middle. Taking out the smaller bots is still a good idea because it will be like dodging multiple attacks at once

In the boxes he was finding bandages i got gum, feathers, box of ant eggs (which i ate lol) and some gum and a pink brussel sprout. Was going to eat it until i read the description where is said causes pain.

I just did the assistant manager last night, and the trick is the spider armor with the Robin Hood hat for the archery bonus. And then bring crossbow with 30 salt arrows. He is weak to salt. I killed him at lvl 10 with 27 salt arrows. And the red ant mace for the little guys.

You can crouch under the double laser and jump over the lower single one. Makes the fight even easier. Can basically hit boss at all times. Took me about 50 seconds to finnish him with the ant mace, pretty easy fight.

Ok. So the lasers do not move the same direction and you can't walk and need to jump the lower one, his ground pound half health me with lady bug armor.

You dont need to use bombs in the first rock you can get into the door thats unlocked by parkouring to the hallway on the side then jumping to the door

If u have crusty roly poly set on, and u have an antlion greatsword u can take it in phase 1 focusing only on the miniboss.

@@SirSim-Alot On Medium this was doable BEFORE 0.12 - I used Salt Star and just focus, focus on Ass. Manager (a real ass lol) and what Miklos did is very doable. But I just completed tonight on Woah mode and I would say it would be pretty tough to pull off (not Impossible though but extremely hard) because of the weapon nerfs to Lv 5 gear. I made another comment on here how I achieved it but it took me 5 perfect triple combos+ a couple of random hits with a Lv 5 Ox Hammer to pull off (tripping crits doing so). I glugged a Rage smoothie and used Eyepatch+ to increase my damage to max. The Tayz's aren't tough to take out but they pack a punch so you have to take your time which then causes Phase 1 to go to 2.....etc

My tips would be 1. Be in third person so you can see your environment better and be able to dodge better 2. Start out with the crossbow for the first half 3. Destroy the taz.r robots first, their knock back will tear you apart 4. Make sure you have barbarian and meat shield mutations equipped

I kept dying to the assistant manager until I used my hammer and black and shield I used my black and shield to block the tay-z and the electric ball and the assistant manager when the assistant manager use its laser and its Tesla piller I stop him from doing it by perfect blocking him I thought I have to perfect block to block but I didn't have to perfect block so I mastered blocking because of that so I kept blocking his attack and then defeated him and use almost all 41 of my green machine smoothies and liquid rage smoothies. Here is a tip when you use the hammer tap block and try to hit it again it will remove the delay of the hammer and another tip if you keep moving the tay-z won't hit you and one more is you have to have at least ladybug armor, smoothies, and black ant shield.

I would also add is if you can get the Ox Hammer (you'll need to kill a few Ox Beetles) - it helps tons....

My experience, the orange lasers criss cross and I never once saw yours criss cross like scissors. Also he uses the lasers and the shockers as soon as I'm done hitting him on the first go, looks so much easier on yours the lasers never cross but mine spin opposite ways

No you don't. You can easily get the tier 2 shovel well before you face the AM. Just use an upgraded Mosquito Rapier and Ladybug armor with a shield to kill black ants

man I've tried this a hundred times. The Taz-t's seems to group around together on your video, but what I experience is they are coming from all over and the arc'rs seem to have 50 balls of lightning out. Also the lasers on top go in opposite directions now, and sometimes even reverse on you. Yes I'm in normal mode. This really seems impossible. I spent a lot of time upgrading weapons/armor to get her too. Not fun.

Seriously. Lasers do more damage too. Hard to solo for sure. Edit:. To anyone trying this, get good armor and the salt mourning star, also have like 10 smoothies each of health and damage boost. You can solo it easy on medium difficulty. Also keep moving don't hide behind pillars cause lasers will go through. Also notice which way lasers move! Hope this helps, cheers.

@@jedishinobi9399 This is not a lecture for you jedi as I am not worthy lol but moreso to add to what youve said. On Woah mode as of this message, I took Salt Morning Star and Ox Hammer (and Stinging Spear for the ants) both at Level 5; Armour was Eyepatch+ Spider chest and legs; drunk a Sticky Rage Beefy smoothie for ex damage plus the green one for Hyperstamina. Was a tough fight and took several attempts. DO NOT underestimate the lil robots on Woah mode as they can one shot you with my armour setup (some will prefer Antlion or Roly but because you are constantly moving this sucks because of stamina drain). Twice I died after twatting the AM because of the lethal little robots. Keep moving and avoid groups of them like the plague and try not to miss with your combos to take them out singly. If you miss twice in a row of a combo, back off and try again to avoid being clipped. Difficult to choose which weapon is better but my successful run was done with the Ox Hammer...the key to Woah mode is DONT BE GREEDY with hits and keep moving. I say this because with the Hammer, you can get 9 hits in with block cancel - but I don't advise more than 6 or you will be twatted by the lil ones. Keep your eye on your health at all times...

They should design a way to make it available to join, off of rank possibly/age limits depending upon the host. That’d make it much more entertaining. If anyone becomes annoying or starts destroying your base & whatnot, we’d have an option of kicking them from the game. Some of us don’t have friends that play Grounded lol all my people play other games so would be nice to have someone who appreciates the yard as well as I do. 🙌🏽

Me and my friend killed him before he even performed his mechanics. We drank rage smoothie and whaled on him. I used mint mallet my friend use full crit build with bee spear and he couldnt do anything. Killed him under 60seconds. We did samething to broodmother killed her in 2mins maybe 3. Didnt have to kill her adds we just whaled on her. Probably cant do this on Woah mode but on normal mode its def working

The lasers don’t go the same direction when I fight him. The go opposite directions. The other bots aggressively attack me as well. Did you make your video on easy mode? Cause my game is set to medium.

Same for me, but whoa unfortunately and when they are too many they are more cleaver and go all around me ( do not turn around the center stupidly) and block my move, plus they also have laser and lightning in the same time and then there is too much people in the center. I spent I don't even know how many hour for nothing and I went back home. I gonna try next with black ant armor. At least each time they touch me If I don't die they will get damage too. and maybe the ant lion sword which is faster.

@@YannR34 i saw a guy use the black ant sword and black ant sheild.. he blocked all the blue energy blasts from those Ray guns and hit the manager repeatedly with that sword. I used the smithy to level the sword to level 5. The greenmachines are too little health applied too slowly and i get damage as fast as i am hesling it because it takes me so long to use 4-6 at a time. So im going to try granola bars! I also read a post from a giy who beat the manager and friends with those red ant egg bombs! So im equipinv the bombs and granols bars on my quick access wheel. Im using spider armor but if i still continue to fail i will try what i just now read in one of the posts right here.. black ant armor. Maybe they are on to something.. its a black ant hive.. maybe you need to use black any weapons and armor?

@@kidrio1791 Even with the shield I took damage from electricity because those balls send lightning when you are close. Less but still. I'm gonna try the food from edge, the better one, which gives you more chance of critical hit, and another one which gives you something else, and ant lion sword or black ant sword, but I'm gonna try to avoid to have to use the shield, hiting the boss 3 times and retreat while I still have energy then come back later between those laser and electric stuff's. Black ant armor is ready, I'm gonna use it too. More likely the meat shield, the more energy stuff, faster energy reload, critical hit buff, and sword buff (don't have this buff yet), but I need to get it at max first, and upgrade my two sword too. So I'll go in a while. And I while bring some beefy smoothie, (more damage, more energy, and more resistance)

I had this. Keep going back randomly and use the keycard on the doors again. Took me 3 months to clear it on my Medium playthrough...Just finished doing a Woah run tonight and it didn't glitch on me this time....... weird!! Good luck
