If they would have conceptualized it first maybe. But that is exactly what you do in Smalland (Fight a wasp boss, whose wings make you a glider) so I don't see it happening.

I swear I’ve been ranting about this forever. I think you should be able to make a glider from moth parts but it would make even more sense if it were locked behind a boss.

To clarify a couple points on the new abilities - Bard's Tudor(New Bard/Wasp headpiece); ~4 Defense, 2.5% Resistance (Base Armor, Not Upgraded) (*Bardic Discouragement. *Waspoid) -Bardic Discouragement: The pluck of the strings from your charged shots causes enemies around you to suffer negative effects. -Waspoid: Wasps recognize you as one of their own until directly threatened(similar effect as the Red Ant Armor Set bonus with Red Ants) -Healthy Harmony(SLEEK Upgrade): Your Bardic Buffs gain an additional effect: hurting enemies and healing allies. ---This works with the new Bardic Mutation: Bardic Inspiration (The twing of your bow string mimics that of a harp empowering your allies as you shoot) Bard's Bow(Wasp Bow): TIER III, ~3.6 damage, ~0.1 Stun, ~3.5 Speed (Base Weapon, Not Upgraded) (*Minor Threat ability) For comparison; Black Ox Crossbow Tier III, ~5.5 damage, ~1 Stun, ~0.3 Speed (Base Weapon, Not Upgraded) (*Rough Reload Ability) Insect Bow: Tier II, ~2.1 damage, ~0.1 Stun, ~3.5 Speed (Base Weapon, Not Upgraded) WASP Armor - Charged Shot Combo : Shooting an uncharged shot has a chance to make your next charged shot charge twice as fast. (Ability is per piece of armor in the set) WASP Armor(SLEEK) - Quick Shot Refund : Shooting a charged shot has a chance to make your uncharged shots refund their stamina for a brief time. WASP Armor Set Bonus - Air Superiority: Ranged Attacks deal significantly more stun damage to flying creatures, causing them to fall from the sky more easily. Summary/reworded: Wasp armor is for using a bow, when you use quick bow shots you get better chance to have a faster charged shot for more damage and higher stun damage(Armor set bonus). If you upgrade armor SLEEK, you get stamina back for using regular bow attacks after using a charged bow attack. This encourages you to switch between charged and regular attacks with the bow, something to the rhythm of 2-3 regular shots for each charged shot seems to be the sweet spot for DPS currently on this build of the test server.

If you didn’t know, if you equip apex predator and use the new bow, it gives a chance to spawn wasp that defend you like spiderlings

I feel like the ant queen is gonna end up being a mini boss like the Green Shield Bug or the Termite King. I want them to add a Centipede or Millipede boss though under the House, that would be interesting

@@wvqg9215 I don’t think we’ll ever go in the house, it’s too big and kinda defeats the purpose of the whole backyard stuff. I’m thinking more of like the Undershed, where you go in the floorboards of the house or under the house and that’s where you’d find the Centipede, more Termites, Silverfish, Cockroaches, and more. You could also have like a Rat that could act like the Koi fish

just beat it the queen after 4 attempts. 9 Waspidotes, 20 bandages with the spicy staff, sour staff and widow dagger. phew. that was rough work. the way her venom and poison can quickly stack up and drain your health was the biggest killer. despite her strenght against spicy attacks the damage over time from the Whittle Wizard is what really help me chip away at her health.

Just wanted to point out you dont need to destroy TWO wasp nests. I destroyed only 1. By the tool box. ANd the wasps got super mad. They then raided my base and beat the crap out of it more than any bug before. My base was in actual danger this time. After i defended my base i slept a few days later, and during the sleep animation the wasp cutscene happened, and they came out the hole.

Its easier for people to get behind the slaughter of bugs than the slaughter of a lizard that was once a pet that bleeds, so i wouldnt expect the lizard.
