Groundhog Day 2024 Prediction: Punxsutawney Phil does NOT see his shadow

Punxsutawney Phil has emerged from his burrow to forecast there will be an early spring. The spectacle that is Groundhog Day at Gobbler’s Knob in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania took place as usual. The prognosticator of prognosticators emerged at dawn on Friday. Members of his inner circle revealed he had not seen his shadow, which is rare, indicating spring will come early.

I just read an article that said he is kept in a zoo and they don’t even let him hibernate by keeping it the same temperature and light on at all times to profit off him the most from people coming year-round. You should look into it. It’s actually pretty cruel.

For those that don't know, this event is completely free to get into. You will need to be there about 5 hours ahead of time. You can ride free shuttles to the event as well. Make sure you wear good boots because it's almost always muddy and be sure to dress warmly.
