It would have been even funnier if there was a rare police officer with a sense of humor and police replied snarkily before dragging him out of the car. I'll always remember the time when an stupid arrogant kid in my high school class started arguing with the teacher and he didn't realize he was in trouble until the teacher said "well I've never sent somone to the principals for insolence before but ....". This teacher could maintain order without getting angry because he always outsmarted the students and then came down hard on them, there was no getting away with stuff.
