First line up I ever seen at a gig in 85, seen this band easy 50 times, last time at the ferry in Glasgow 2008 but as a 6 year old in 1970 used to listen to the original line up rehearse,as Tony rented a room where my Mum was a housekeeper,also in the same house was dave arbus who was in east of eden . and played the electric violin solo on the who's babra o'reilly

It was HTV but the link is much more tenuous, I believe That Alan Lived in Tredegar, had a band called Tredegar and a drummer who was Welsh ...
