My dad was a photographer who developed black and whites at home. I have boxes of pictures from weddings etc of people i don't know. Guess they're about to make their debut soon in my 'art' projects. I knew i kept them for 50 years for something!

The lady (with the butterfly) is rather dark. I kept shouting to you to put something light behind her. She sort of just blended into the wallpaper behind/beside her... Well, still does, actually. So, then you added a butterfly. Then, a number But, for ME, she still needs something lighter behind her. I started shouting for you to add it waaaay back before you glued her down. Oh well. As you said, we all have different tastes. So, I just looked again at her and thought, maybe you thought that it would look too diff if background was lighter. Because everything else is kind of dark and blended and blurry? I don't know, Ceri, C•e•r•i. I don't know that sometimes I like a little color and/or lighter/brighter, you dig? (Sorry. When I'm tired, my old hippie comes out! 🙄🥴) Oh, hell ...One more thing. The lighting was giving me a little trouble. I couldn't see the pdolls very well. I REALLY noticed when you picked up and showed us the tags at the end. BIG difference. (Lady with butterfly didn't look so dark! 🙄🤭😉)🌹✌️💕

I bought a pack of these, even though I wasn't sure what I'd use them for. I was impressed with the photos and the product quality. One of the problems with packs like this is not being able to tell if the people are diverse. As a person of color (POC), I like to see diversity in representation, though I'm not as picky as my sister, who will only use POCs in her work. The pack has plenty of POCs of all ages. They are mostly black, but there are a few Hispanic and Asian people as well. There were enough for me to send her quite a few, and still have a good number for myself. So, if that's an issue for you, I think the pack is a good buy and I've enjoyed adding my 'little people' to my work.

Yes I admire their mixture and diversity.

I misspelled aren't wrong. Sorry. In the begining of my craftìng i tried to copy everything but somehow it always came out different because i was finding own little path of my creativity. Although i may love something I see I've learned to love my creativity. But I do learn something from all videos. Like Gayle and I learned from you to ground our people so they don't look like they are hanging mid air. Love ya.

I don’t use the paper dolls very often and I only have a few but I used one the other day and I stuck him down and then I thought of you. He was already stuck down with art glitter glue, so I used a Derwent Inktense pencil, and I scribbled under his feet, and then I used a water brush to spread it out so now he’s standing in a brown puddle because I couldn’t find my black pencil which would’ve been more like a shadow than a puddle 😅.

I couldn’t resist looking that’s up - Vulpus virginanus is a gray fox. Apparently it has gone extinct, because the only image I could find was in a museum that was painted by Audubon in 1843, near the end of his life. So, essentially, a gray fox could be considered a little creepy???
