Group B Tribute - The Monsters

This is my new video or Group B.
The Group B was born in 1982 and banned in 1986.
The Group B banned later the fatal crash by Henry Toivonen and Sergio Cresto - Lancia Delta S4.
The Group is extremily exciting,but dangerous especially for the spectators.
R.I.P Henry Toivonen.

@skvakagud I agree, the video is nicely composed, and the music is ok as well, as long the sound of the cars was still there. I did post some car clips and was able to blend both sounds, music and car sound, and if I had to chose only one of them, it will be the sound of the cars, ALWAYS. Regards

@edjupafe with ALL Theese, clips.. it wud have been frustrating with no music.. And the clips are nicely composed ! .. But yes some engine sounds once in a while wud have been nice..

I see it differently. It was the mindless spectators that killed off Group B. The death of Toivonen and Cresto just topped it off as it was just a week after Joaquim Santos crashed into the spactators at Portugal. And why did that happen? They blocked the road, making him have a panic reaction and lose control.

I thought u were being ironic like 'let dem die' cuz they've chosen to stand on the road. I'm sorry if I misinterpreted it. Well u r right, it must be must be an amazing feeling for the driver and his co-driver when the crowd makes all that noise as they're passing by.I went to a few competitions from the Portuguese downhill championship and I've experienced it, although u don't see as many people as u r going down the hill,(in comparison to a rally crowd) u still feel the same energy !

@khanikun Strange, why would only engine performance improve and not handling? If the cars are uncontrollable then the engineers will be forced to work on handling instead.

@edjupafe yes exactly :) As a car lover my self i would always go for the sound as well, but it would be the same with say a series of pictures of "erotic girls". Not many men dislike looking at it, but no one would want a slideshow where the picture changes every second. Would just be a mess in ones head. :P So would all the beautiful sounds coming from the cars be, with the clips changing so fast :b .. But nice, ill try to remember to check it out =)

@khanikun Well, isn't that the case with every sport? Of course the fact that spectators are standing on the middle of the road has to be dealt with one way or another. Every sport has evolved in the safety and regulations department over the last decades. Just look at F1, it has been limited to enormous extends and still they loose concentration and make accidents. So it is bound to happen anyway in that regard, it just shouldn't involve spectators dying that is all.

@edjupafe Yawn. There are 1,000 youtube Group B videos without music. This one has music. There is room for both in the fucking universe.
