Shame none of these dogs actually show or are tested for any work they just have to be pretty and intact. Work should come first!

Actually I show dogs and these dogs are tested and they are more than show dogs but of course you don’t know that

why are some owners picking there dogs up off the table by their tails..disgusting

Most terriers were bred to have strong tail bases. The west highland terrier is one of those. The bones in the base of their tail is as thick as their spine. They were bred like that so they could chase rodents down holes, and their owners could pull them out of holes by their tails so they wouldn't get stuck. Most terriers were bred as ratters, so the short lifts by the tail does not hurt them. In the toy group for example, you would never see a handler lift the dog by the tail, because they weren't bred for it, and it would hurt them.

Yeah it does not hurt them at all I do it to my carin and she is fine I show dogs you avoiously don’t know what you are talking about
