I wonder how many of these people will choose to use their degree to continue a social justice campaign in support of all victims of something? It would be interesting to revisit these people five years from now to see if they themselves, fell victim to evil capitalism: Living in a nice high-rise apartment in NY, pulling in a 6-figure salary, driving a BMW or Audi, renting an Air B&B in the Hamptons with their friends, etc. etc. Then ask them if they'd be willing to give it all away to help support Palestinians.

The high pressure tactics against the student protestors to make them comply is a big mistake. They all need to go to Gaza to provide humanitarian aid for the cause. It's easy to protest and make demands when you're safe and have a full belly, a place to live, and a Starbucks latte in your hands. It's another thing to be part of the movement, put into practice your beliefs, and help those who you support from the safety of half a world away. Their "moral righteousness, compassion and empathy" could be proven if they actually volunteered to help in Gaza, and not just protest here.

Hamas would excuse most of these kids on sight, because of their Western Beliefs our culture and government protects. Hamas is a Muslim Brotherhood sect, of conservative Islam.
