If I could ride like anybody in the world I would ride like Jeff.

I can get on board with that!

I lived eastern Chesterfield county for 34 years. I never knew that these cool bike trails were in pocahontas Park.

Yeah most of the trails in the video were built in the past 8 years or so. But they do have some MTB trails dating back to the 90s I think

Jeff and I were last to leave the lot, we both had parking tickets! great ride
@downtoridemtb8 ай бұрын
Dang! Well hopefully the ride made up for the parking tickets.

@@downtoridemtb I likely will. I keep my bikes in Appomattox and usually ride high bridge and some of the MTB trails that branch off of it. This looks like more fun, although at almost 64, with a few fractured vertebrae, I can’t do any serious jumps.

@@LebronPhoto1 I’ve never ridden those trails but Pocahontas is a nice place to ride that won’t beat up your back too much. I’m a bit younger than you but my lower back seems to think I’m in my 60s. Pocahontas is one of the few places I can ride my hardtail and actually enjoy it (even though I still prefer my full suspension bike).

I know what you mean Brian, it's always hard to get comfortable on such a big group ride. Love the mix of tech and flow on these trails. Nice job keeping up with Jeff! He is such a great ambassador for mountain biking!

Thanks! Yeah that was me going about full speed to keep up with his casual pace! Anyway if you ever come to Richmond I’d be glad to show you around these trails.

I was at this ride too, scared myself a couple of times trying to keep up. Lenosky makes it look so easy...
@downtoridemtb2 жыл бұрын
That’s cool, hope to see you out there again sometime. That is true about Lenosky. My full speed pace was barely able to keep up with his casual pace.

Awesome trail and ride :) . I missed out on a group ride here at Brushy Creek. I have chatted w/ him on social media platform and he is truly genuine and super humble guy. Was very helpful with the questions I have asked him and was glad to assist. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks. Hero 8 Black on the chin bar of a full face helmet. I followed some settings from another KZbinr that seem to work pretty well

What is the name of that trail? How do we get there and where do we park??
@downtoridemtb2 жыл бұрын
Well it is a series of trails. Blue Jay Way to Moonshine Run but take the connector to Corkscrew toward the end of Moonshine. From there, Millstone 1 and 2 to Zero. The Chute is part way through Zero. Best place to park is the lot on Courthouse Rd. Good luck!
