sir one more simple way to solve this question quickly is that in this mode of vibration C2 is anti symmetric and also sigma-h is antisymtric..so by simply looking at table we can get answer..is not that right??

in group table has A1 and A2 Mulliken symbol and there has no prime. it should be prime. but in options has prime. so that is a wrong question. why not?

What about rule of mutual exclusion? In which no modes can be both IR and Raman active if molecule is centrosymmetric. Question would have been solved easily.
