The KANPE Foundation accompanies the most vulnerable families in Haiti, to financial autonomy. "KANPE" means "stand up" in creole.
The Foundation was co-founded by Arcade Fire's Régine Chassagne and by Dominique Anglade, today's Québec Minister of the Economy, Science and Innovation.
On September 9th 2017, KANPE hosted a benefit event at New York's SoHo Grand Hotel.
