Tip for the boat getting beached at camp: run a bungee line anchor off the back and regular anchor with a lot of rope off the front. Push the boat off the shore at night and let it float out there. Pull it back in when you get ready to fish in the morning.

Skip definetly took all your NLBNs

Would you say a natural colored shrimp Lure works better for bank fishing or a mullet or other natural colors soft swim bait? In Florida
@justin_menendezАй бұрын
Yeah I personally lean towards natural colors and if you fish at night give some brighter colors a shot. Fish definitely see colors differently depending on time of day.
@Fishingwithkayson23Ай бұрын
@ would you use a swimbait or a shrimp lure?
@justin_menendezАй бұрын
It depends what species you are fishing for. Id recommend trying both out and see what gets more bites 👍🏼

Genuine question, most of the time me and the boys camp out at Watson or Darwin, the bugs are absolutely atrocious. Are they just as bad on the shoreline areas compared to the actual camps?
@justin_menendezАй бұрын
This spot they were really bad near the mangroves but once you were about 20 feet away from the mangroves I had no issues with them.
@AceisbestdonutАй бұрын
Hey Justin what braid do you use I want to start fishing for reds I live in nc I got a lews inshore but idk what braid to put on it
@justin_menendezАй бұрын
I use Berkley x5 or Spiderwire Ultracast. Both work great for me. If you are fishing redfish with a smaller setup I would recommend 10 or 20 lb braid with a 20 or 30 lb leader.
@AceisbestdonutАй бұрын
@ thanks man do you have a code with NLBN I’m hoping to get some 3 inch’s soon

@justin_menendezАй бұрын
Large goliath groupers you cannot but these are little guys, you can remove to unhook and of course must be released.
