Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (also known as Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs in PAL territories) is a 2009 platform game based on the film of the same name, developed by Eurocom and published by Activision. It was released on June 30, 2009 for Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Games for Windows and Nintendo DS. It was the first video game within the Ice Age franchise without a release for the Game Boy Advance. A demo was made available in the Xbox Live Marketplace on June 15, 2009 as well as a PC demo.

The Wii, PS3 and X360 versions run in widescreen, the PS2 version don't, you can see that Sid looks more ''stretched'' on the screen 1:21 on PS2 and it is not possible to see the extra elements of the scenario on the left and right side of the screen. ( You can see this clearly at 3:56 in the video too ) And if you compare the PS2 version at 2:23 and jump to the Wii version at 2:44 you will notice that the PS2 version runs at a lower frame rate than the other versions. And if you pause at 4:12 you can clearly see that the PS2 has less quality textures, mainly in Sid's eyes. Despite these downgrades, it's really cool to see that they managed to put exactly the same game from the other platforms on the PS2 and that in 2009 when it was already a very old console, they made good use of the hardware in my opinion.

ps2 has a widescreen option in the options menu, many ps2 games did that for a widesreen setting.
