PSP port is officially never been released, so it is just fan port. But I think in theory system performance of PS2 and PSP could run PvZ 1 as well.

It does, it's just a effortless bootleg pvz, if someone really wanted to port pvz to psp it would be possible to replicate the original with maybe some changes to improve performance, but nothing more than that

0:08 fun fact : pvz iphone and ipad version was hd version before and it was looking much better but then it removed and free version published with ads and the design was so bad look at the hd version and look at the free version zombies are smaller , bush's was removed and plant slots moved to the left not up

The DS and PSP versions are pretty unimpressive. Both handhelds were capable of having much better graphics. The DS version in particular hardly looks better than the GBA era.

PS3 actually have better hardware, it just that most devs can't take advantage all of it and use just a fraction of the console's power, thus many games look worse on PS3 if you find a well optimized PS3 games, they actually look much better than Xbox 360 and for later Xbox they actually play Xbox 360 version, just upscaled the graphic artificially, not naturally
