Grouse hunting WOW another quick 10

Kathy wanted to get out and enjoy the last warm day we will see for a while, temperatures warmed out, the sun was shining and the birds came out to play. Good for us... not so good for the bush chickens. An amazing and memorable day for her and I. Here in the Quebec province, 2 hours northern Montreal, I could barely see 2 or 3 during a whole day.

Each area has its peaks and lows at different times trust me this is not a normal year but I am not complaining lol

Grouse are pretty uncommon around me. I don't know how you guys tolerate all those bugs. I get annoyed if I get a few ticks on me. It looked worth it tho, you got a nice harvest.

The bugs just drive you crazy, just breath in and you get a mouth full but ticks are way worse not a fan of ticks. Thanks for watching Jake

Where are good spots to hunt grouse in northern ontario?

We have had success North of Thunder Bay, we look for clover ☘️ on the sides of the trails Also if you can find a trail a half kilometre from a freshly logged area , the birds get displaced during logging and move into quieter areas
