"Grover remembered he had his Glock, but found that he had only one bullet. One for him or one for God, or try to get both of them in one shot. He contemplated for a long while, and after an eternity of what seemed to be heat deaths, he put his finger on the trigger, aimed his gun, and a big bang was heard all throughout the universe. Grover woke up next to god's dead body, with an ethereal glow all around him. His original quest may have been completed, but he become the being he swore to destroy. That, was not part of the plan, and this painful, never-ending existence, was God's ultimate punishment".

Grover sought to kill God. Instead, God gave Grover a lesson: His mad quest was, in absolute actuality, at best, an insignificant micro-fragment of a thing. Not even a spec of its own, or a piece of something else. Life, death, rebirth… the eternity of space, the universe, this whole world… was glorious. This was Grover’s punishment. A lesson in significance. A lesson, before a singular, once-unwavering mortal heart.

But the entities taking care of Bowman kinda wanted to give him cereals, except somehow they failed at recreating them and even the water was of the purified sort. I still remember that one from back when I was 15 and read four books from the saga, one after another... We're talking about the ending of the very first book. The one that was considered a canon predecessor to each new book in the saga, except that clarke came up with the idea, that each new book was happening in an alternative universe with a different timeline and a slightly changed ending mentioned in every new piece in relation to the previous one. This detail I had mentioned about Bowman's treatment, which he had received within his newly found surroundings, the observations he had explicated, concerning the things he had been provided with, by a "something"... Without creating a "mandela effect" between books Clarke would be forced to imply incompetence or some other trickery that was supposed to fail on purpose and be recognized by David Bowman. Clarke would have to imply that the incompetence is of the "something", which Bowman has become a part of in his future book... And even, that the incompetence was of something that could be way more, than just a powerful entity, and could rather be considered... something that an aging writer could be turning towards in his private life, subconsciously, as a mortal man.
@brianbrady91872 ай бұрын
In the original video we have that part where Grover is inexplicably falling down the stairs till the end of time after he had obtained divinity. My theory is that throwing Kermit down the steps the two were merged. Grover is punished for his sins but rewarded for his boundless will to kill God and over come any obstacles. The only way God and Grover can see eye to eye is to merge into a single being.

Got inspired to write and just wanted to throw out a couple more lines He saw the birth of the universe, and he saw the heat death. And he could not tell the difference Every sensation that could be experienced had already ripped through his flesh, every possible combination of the most divine pleasure or pain. He was beyond what you could know as tired, he wasn't a solid form anymore. He was in everything that had ever and will ever exist. To break man's soul is torture, to take a man's soul and force it to be something it's not is beyond that.

I’m a misotheist calvinist and I love this stuff! Please consider making something about God predestining people to the lake of fire for His own glorification (u can take inspiration from the “sinners in the hands of an Angry God” sermon, and calvinist interpretation of Romans 9:6-25). It basically boils down to most of humanity being created for the purpose of being destroyed, rejected and tortured forever, all to satisfy the Creator’s desire for glory and showing His power. It’s like absolute cosmic horror hidden in seemingly mundane theology, “It’s a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God”.
