Hello sir, it is my first time watching your videos. And i love your video, very helpful content. Sir, I would like to ask a few questions, iam from manipur, we used to grow this tree beans but we face alots of problem growing them, which includes, the trees grow very fast, but as soon as the beans are about to pop out the trees got infected, the leaves become brown in color from top to buttom... Please give us the specific treatment for that...

Its a pathogen,.... in Manipur lots of the site/locality the grown up trees of parkia is facing this problem, we have to treat this infection by fungicide, if nearby you have KVK or Van Vigyan Kendra you can consult with a Pathologist, He/she may surely help you by recommended dose and combination of funcicide.

Hi Dr. Bikram, I have a few questions. People said the tree from branch grafting bears fruit within 3-4 years, while tree from seed took 5-6 years. Please let me know if this is true? Will it be okay to prune the tree in order make the tree shorter? And what will be the minimum spacing for planting? And lastly, please let me know what kind of fertilizer to use for a healthy and maximum yield. Thank you.

Yeah, tree from branch grafting bears fruit earlier than seed origin, (1) since the scion wood is a basically cutting that has the same genetic maturity as the parent plant, hence it bears fruit much more earlier. (2) Usually Pruning tree makes manageable size for horti-trees but should be done during dormant period. (3) generally apple and cherry trees need a spacing of 6 to 9 feet, semi-dwarf trees about 15-16 feet, and standard or full-sized trees about 25-28 feet. Fruit trees require more spacing as compared to trees for wood. (4) Initially apply FYM 5 kg/tree and the optimum fertilizers for fruit trees are high in nitrogen (N).

If you have seeds no need to wait you can sow it now as per the technique. the seed viability goes down as you keep it for long. fresh seeds do well....
