They. Have modified EVERYTHING, literally. I always look for heirloom seeds and seeds that say not GMO several older brands carryvthem. There is a brand of seeds called Mayo Seeds and the packets look like they are still been made in the same packaging from the 1940s. But they carry alot of heirloom seeds.

Interesting video. I also want to grow real carnations. It took me three years to get it right. I finally have a large clump outdoors. I'm starting some new ones this year. The trick is to start a lot. Are you still growing carnations?

Yes. Start a lot. No, I am not growing Carnations at the moment. But I will soon! Glad yours are growing now.

Girl after my own heart! I want to make a video soon and talk about how breeders and hybridizers are perverting the best and most natural attribute of flowers out there, which is their fragrance. It’s disgusting. Anyway, great video! I’m gonna have to try these.

You need to transplant before they get too tall. Remember, they grow well from cuttings too. Let us know how they did?

Look for any species if Dianthius that's what they are and what family they belong to. It took me a minute to realize that carnatiins are just really big Dianthius. Your plants look amazing!!! Try growing veggies in containers. Its the best way for cabbages and potatoes and tomatoes. Also, collards, carrots, beets, bell peppers, and herbs. Lots of choices with container planting also is a super space saver.

it's pronounced " onfont de niece" you probably haven't been able to find them because they may be seen as old fashioned or out of fashion...sadly...i think they're beautiful.

Yes. They are. The smell is nice as well. It definitely has a flowery-clove like scent as mentioned in the video.

Thanks very much for your reply is it good to plant it now
@carmelwine76107 жыл бұрын
Opelo Siakoko Hi Opelo, It's best to plant carnations 6-8 weeks before your last frost date. Or you can plant them in a greenhouse early then transplant your carnations.
