For those wanting to try this, don’t add any fertilizers, instead use worm castings. Meaning worm poop! :) As for the soil Noringo uses, it’s too coarse and not at all good for tree rooting because it will rot if left like that. Another issue here is for the pot. Make sure it has at least 15 inches or more space to grow downward and you are golden. Other tree’s are less finicky about the pots! :) Good luck out there growers!

I was about to comment about the fertilizers too, but not because I know why, just a hunch from my experience. I have never plant cherries (pretty sure they can't grow in my country).

Hey, I like your videos.Lots of love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩♥
I just found your channel! Thanks for showing your success as as well as your failures. Too often gardeners only show harvest. We dont see struggle in the middle stages, so we don't know how to deal with wind, rain, heavy plants, and pests. THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR NEW SUB! PLEASE DONT GIVE UP! YOU CAN DO IT!

I’ve always been told by my dad that too much fertilizer can burn the plant. And since some plants have different needs than others, too much or too little acidity in the water or soil can change the way seedlings grow.

I will be careful next time.

Besides seedling should not fertilize until it reaches 1yr.as far as i know.
I think fertilizer is killing plant, because every plant have different need.

Hello, I'm from Mexico it appears that there is a small white microscopic visitor naturally in the soil, that eats the seeds, I would recommend you to boil the soil. The small parasite is unable to eat the greened leafs that's why the green germinated seeds did make it.

dry the cherry pits, put them in freezer for a few weeks. Then file one end of the seed for a tiny opening. Soak the seeds in water. Then plant them.
