I love seeing mushrooms fruit in timelapse. So beautiful. I have two tubs flowering at the moment.

Great video. I have a Pink Oyster kit, but didn't explain what to do after the first flush. My gut instinct says to micropore the cut areas and place back into a dark wardrobe for a week or so and maybe turn over and make new cuts before then 🤔 I've grown bags outside making my own using the cardboard tek using Oyster stem butts (found a wild summer Oyster last summer on an old Holly tree that's done really well and now have around 4 Polypore bags on the go)... Feels silly starting with that and now doing a "kit" and not sure how to do a second flush! Glad your video has cemented my instinct 😊

Thank you. You are totally right:) Normally I seal the open cut with normal tape, wait 1 week and then turn the bag, so that the bottom part is rotated to the side (here the moisture should be the higest). Then I cut a new hole and put it into my fuiting tent, after 2-3 days it will start pinning again. It also works by just leaving it in the tent, but I feel that the second flush then will not produce many new mushrooms.

another amazing video! i like seeing the difference. it looks like the 2nd flush had fewer mushrooms but they were larger? very nice!
@HappyMushrooms2 жыл бұрын
Thank you:) Third flush was also a success, but not as many as 2nd or 3rd, but still nice to watch as time lapse;)

I'm a little confused. Did you re-seal the bag between the flushes? Ahh, re-watched it, got it. Fantastic camera work as usual! Keep it up.

Yes but only with micropore tape

Awesome video!! It's really neat to watch the bag shrink as the mushrooms grow. Do you know if the shrinking is mainly due to mushrooms using up all the water in the block?
@HappyMushrooms2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Its both, the consume a lot of water but also dygeste the energy of the substrate. After rehydrating the block the size will remain a lot smaller.

@@HappyMushrooms (I’m still new to this) do you rehydrate the block? If so, do you have a video showing how?
@wendyyang78462 жыл бұрын
Your content is amazing, your channel will blow up soon🤩 do you soak your block for couple hours before you put it back to the grow tent again or straight to the tent after let it rest for a week after first flush?
@HappyMushrooms2 жыл бұрын
Thank you:) no i just left it in the bag. It did flush again. This Time only 170g but a nice Time lapse again;)

Growing conditions...5W led 24/7...does it mean that the light burns constantly, without extinguishing?
@HappyMushrooms2 жыл бұрын
Yes normally id recommend to run 12/12 but because of the time lapse footage I take I keep the lights on.
