There is really no excuse with planting. Love that you grew it in the holes of the bricks. And they look so nice and healthy. That's great 👏🏼🌱 Really enjoyed this video as usual 🙂

I am so happy that I got your tik tok videos on my FYP and then I came on KZbin and subscribed to your channel immediately. I am now more motivated and encouraged to start my kitchen garden and I want to start with seasonings, patchoi and lettuce. I wanted so bad to get local content on social media on home gardening. Thanks so much for doing this.

I agree with you on growing pakchoi. It grows quickly and I found it tastier in the home garden. I also regrow from the cut base. I had one that bolted so now I am waiting to harvest seeds.

Good day, I now starting off with my home garden, and I got some bokchoy seedlings which started growing nicely, but then the leaves began to get some thing which I assume may be a fungus then they dried up and die. I ve them in pots .

Hi! I have had leaf miner before but they have never been a massive problem or hindered the growth of my plants. Could you email me some pics of your plants at thetrinigardener@gmail.com and I'll take a closer look?

@@thetrinigardener4712 I already got rid of the ones that were infected. I looked it up on KZbin and it was recommended to remove the infected leaves . I just replanted some pak choi, so I was wondering how to prevent it from happening again.
@thetrinigardener4712
@thetrinigardener4712 2 жыл бұрын
@@rhondasargeant7488 A preventative measure would be to spray the plants with one part vegetable oil, one part water and 2-3 drops of dish washing liquid. If they attack heavily then switch the veg oil for neem oil.

Hello great video. My bok choi keeps on growing upwards and providing yellow flowers. I cant make it to grow wide and thick. What should I do?
@thetrinigardener4712
@thetrinigardener4712 Жыл бұрын
Hey, the bok choi grows like that when it's stressed for some reason. That process is called bolting, the plant is producing flowers and going to seed. Some reasons for the plant being stressed would be: too much heat, pest pressure, lack of nutrients, age. Do any of these sound like something you had with your bok choi before?

Yes they do! But I've always found pak choy bounce back even after being eaten by insects. They take a long time to recover but they usually do for me.
