When almost every plant youtuber is wishing to get variegated plants as much as they can til it seems ridiculous to me, you're still feeling proud about getting a florida green. I really appreciate that! Non variegated plants are definitely gorgeous too ❤️

I love both variegated and green to be honest! But I don’t believe in paying massive prices for them, they always come down eventually if you wait! Yes totally agree non variegated plants are just as good! I think maybe they might become more popular eventually since variegation is becoming more common! Thanks for watching. ❤️

Wow that jose buono is gorgeous! I'd love to get one once i have some more room! I'm sure you have but just double check for pests, my last order came with free mealies 😂 and my last two orders had plants with root rot so monitor them closely!

Great plants! I got a jose that had almost no variegation last summer and now it looks just like yours with giving it good light.

I have several philodendrons too. They are mostly easy to care for...Can't say the same about the silver sword...but I love the big leaves. I just had to repot my black cardinal because it has grown so much in the last year.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a black cardinal out and about. Glad to hear yours is growing well. My silver sword is misbehaving a bit too, growing very small leaves! 😂

@@Plantswithjem well when I got it, it sat for a long time and did nothing and then when it started growing it made weird leaves so then I cut it up and propagated in moss. It finally grew roots so I put them in a pot and then it started growing and I'm pretty happy with it now. It has made some beautiful leaves.

I see. Plants are weird sometimes aren’t they. Sounds like you knew just what to do though and it’s worked out. Sometimes resetting a plant is the best thing for it. I just did that to my maranta.

Huh. I don't find my Florida Green to be a fast grower...but then again, I am SUCH an under waterer, so that may be the issue!

Well my research said it grows fast if you give it a pole BUT I will see what happens from experience AND it can vary so much depending on conditions, country you live in etc. Maybe everyone saying it’s a fast grower lives in Australia or Indonesia!! 😂
