Carl Froch is pretty much a journalist. Him and Simon are on AJ because it brings in the views. AJ just needs to drown out the rubbish and focus and not worry because the fact they are on air talking about him - says alot about what AJ is doing for the division. He breathed life into the division.

No Carl Froch is defending a man who helped him massively in his journey to becoming a 4 time world champion, the same guy that done the very same thing for Anthony Joshua and the every same man who AJ is now slagging off. Simon Jordan on the other hand IS a journo and is simply pointing out AJ is a flat track bully, if you put a heavyweight taxi driver in with him he will steam roll the guy with powerful fast combos but put him in with a boxer with a bit of heart and chin he quits fast

2:10 He brought up Klitschko. Wladimir Klitschko literally had stamina issues first half of his career. Gassed out in fights many times & got stopped multiple times due to collapsing from stamina problems. His career looked done, people questioned his heart. It was under Manny Steward where Klitschko learned how to fight like a big man, use his size to bully opponents, learn to control fights, clinch & grab. He had the best trainer for heavyweights. Manny Steward taught him the skills & tricks learned from having fixed an all-time great big Heavyweight in Lennox Lewis whose career hit a stump. In fact Lewis went to Manny Steward after Steward guided Oliver McCall in a KO win over Lewis. Steward fixed Klitschko in similar fashion. Steward had Klitschko also bring in all the best up & coming heavyweights both amateur or soon contenders to his camp & give him the best quality sparring, which they paid very well. He also had Klitschko sparring through exhaustion to deal with the mental fatigue. Manny Steward also trained Tyson Fury early in his career who went to go stay with Steward in his home in Detroit. Anthony Joshua didn't have Manny Steward who passed away. He had Rob McCracken. A solid coach, whose legacy is mostly from training Carl Froch & working with amateurs. (Later AJ pro coach having worked together with him in amateurs with team GB). AJ was the first heavyweight he trained. AJ won alot of his fights because of his talent, power & confidence. There was no serious evolution after Klitschko fight. He had AJ training & fighting like a middleweight. Never taugh AJ how to fight like a heavyweight, how to clinch, how to use his size. AJ teaming up with Robert Garcia seemed like a total disaster. Robert Garcia, a great coach who works with featherweight, lightweight & had never worked with a heavyweight. That's also why I don't like AJ fit with Derrick james. Derrick James only worked with welterweight & middleweight.

Well put together comment. Clearly someone that knows their boxing, uncommon to find on here with so many biased one sided haters that seem to know only about 1 fighter and completely disregard anything else. AJ is obviously a top heavyweight and has a chance at beating any man on his day. I just feel guys like Fury, Usyk and even Wilder are above him. Wilder has that killer instinct and nastiness in the ring. He also showed a lot of heart in the Fury trilogy and at various times when being outboxed earlier in his career. Usyk obviously has tremendous talent and has settled in well to the heavyweight division. Fury seems to have it all based on what he’s displayed in the ring, he’s not as explosive as others but that doesn’t mean he’s not got power. His movement, footwork and feints alongside his freakish size and ability to switch it up at any given moment places him at the top for me. The trickiest man to beat in my eyes. AJ definitely needs to change something as he seems completely lost in the ring at times and looks to have confidence issues. Saying that he is still a big heavyweight and has that explosive power. If he can get the hands moving more loosely and sort his feet he could be a problem for anyone. Interesting times ahead if we can get these big fights made.

So last week Talk Sport spent the whole week defending themselves not overly been harsh on AJ just to bring Croach sorry Frosh to further their course on criticizing AJ. British media have to move on from making AJ fight ruthlessly. Mam said his changed his fight to build off from a defensive base, they call it being gun-shy, safety first yeyeye... Frosh should be exhausted saying the same thing about a man - disgraceful!

I'm going to disagree with most replies & say that I think Whyte smokes him, rounds 5-7. He's gun shy certainly, but when he does open up is when he's easiest to hit. Rewatch the Franklin fight & you'll see that AJ took shots when he tried to open up. I think Whyte catches him with a left hook high on the head, swung from the other side of the arena.....but AJ will go straight back & not see it coming, do a chicken dance, take a few more shots, hit the deck & well........we know he has quit in him, is all i will say.
