Hello, you talk about building the email list. You mention a freebie. If I see an email coming to me and asking me to join based on a freebie. I am not joining. Why? Because in addition to the freebie there has to be something else like inviting me to buy a camera on Amazon or eBay. It could be a course I created or an affiliate product. It seems to me your freebie to build the list is missing a few somethings. I have joined a few programs and thus I became a subscriber to a list but it was not just a freebie. It was asking to join a program like Prosperity Marketing system. Join and I will give you a responsive list of places where you can advertise. I joined a vitamin company. Freebie: Join and I will give you a free sample. So I do not understand you people who instruct us about list building do not include all? Is it that in order to mention that you need me to pay $200 a month? I have subscribed to people like that and I didn't have the information I needed. It makes me mad.

I'm sorry to hear this has been your experience. However yes, at some point everyone will ask for a sale, it is inevitable... we are all running a business. It is up to you to see if you will get value out of the paid offer or not - just because we ask for a sale, doesn't mean you need to take us up on it. With that said, you should still get enough value from downloading a freebie and staying on someone's email list regardless if you become a paid client or not. If you are not getting the value you need from someone's freebie, it is NOT a good freebie in my exert opinion.
