Thats a crazy sorry excuse for them to void your warranty. Signature solar has gotten a bad reputation for the customer support lately. They did two of my friends dirty with things similar to what they did to you. I really enjoy your content and want to say thanks for all you do for us diy solar people.

Well this one was my fault for modifying the hole size. But the inverter does still work and I will use it for another project. They have been pretty good for me to deal with just sometimes slow. It depends on the person you get. Some are great and they get tons of business and everyone has problems keeping good help it seems like now. Have your friends try again because a different person my help them out if the first one doesn’t.

@@rodneyhunt both my friends had bought a large amount of rack batteries and the growwatt inverters. One had problems with an inverter and never got it solved so they ended up buying a couple victron inverters and took a loss on the growatrs. The other friend had a problem with the batteries going way out of balance and took a 1500 dollar loss and just unhooked the problem battery and bought a replacement. Neither could get much help from customer service and after a couple months just stoped trying and ordered more equipment. I think signature solar just grew faster than they ever expected and that's probably why the customer service went the way it did. They seem to have a lot of good stuff but it's kinda the same stuff I see on alibaba for alot cheaper. I built my own batteries with 280k eve cells and I use a splitphase sungold inverter. I have a 3000 watt all in one unit also but it's running off my leaf battery I built awhile back. I'd like to have a few of those rack mount batteries for my mom's place but I been kinda scared to order them after my friend Kyle went thru all that with such different state of charge and then loosing that money. Man that wire way sure made your install look good I'm thinking I'd like to do that to my system once I get back home

My batteries have been pretty good so that seems weird. Anything electronic can have a problem if you build enough of them I guess. Can’t believe they wouldn’t replace them.

Pretty happy with the Victron Quattro 15K. Never missed a beat. Looks like the new EG4 unit is good too. Good luck, hope it works.

Everything has been good so far including the state of charge. Victron is always a good bet.

I have a couple victron 150-70 charge controllers but I've been using a splitphase sungold inverter but its only 4000 watts. I'd like to get a victron inverter but 10k that I'm needing is gonna be expensive. I love the victron stuff tho for sure

Wondering why you had neutral ground bond if you purchased them from signature solar.

They all have them as far as I know.

I call bull poop on the drilling the inverter bottom out. I am an electrician by trade and have done this. a thousand times or more on many enclosures, that is a standard in the electrical field. I do however understand if you did it wrong shavings could get into the electronics. I would use a hole punch instead of a drill in this case. And if you used 2/0 wire as I have, it will NOT fit in a 1/2" conduit.

I purchased a harbor freight knockout tool but is was defective. I purged the air out but it still would not function so I used a drill. The signature solar tech sent my inverter issues to the return department who said they do not qualify for warranty since I disclosed the openings are now 3/4 instead of original 1/2. No shavings as I vacuumed everything out. Glad its all working now and going to test my original inverter as it may be good as well without the filter installed.

Like and appreciate your updates but I don't understand the purpose of annoying music in the background while I'm trying to listen to what you are saying.

Thanks. Maybe too loud but I try to coverup the inverter noise in the background. Will work on it
