The Beliardi looks especially brilliant.

Reply looking forward to seeing how it develops. From the videos I’ve seen it grows taller, narrower and darker coloured leaves so should look amazing come summer!

where did you get the montbeliardii from?
@TropicalGardenUK7 ай бұрын
I managed to source it on gumtree! They seem to be a struggle to get ahold of

@@TropicalGardenUK certainly do - I'm on the market for one and a hiniba

@@reh6083 it may be worth a look to see if he’s still selling some. He was based around London. I’ve seen a UK website post up some hinibas a couple of days ago - there’s also a guy on marketplace around Leicester selling some but collection only

Where did you source them from? Looking great.

A bit of a mix I got the hiniba from marketplace in the midlands and the montbelliardii from marketplace near London

@@TropicalGardenUK i'm sure you got the Hinibas from myself in Leicester, they look well and filling out nicely, the small pup from the corm is a bonus!

Hi, great looking plants and garden. I over wintered my Red Banana inside and last month I slowly took it outside for over a week. Planted it in a big pot and now it's turned to mush 😢. I'm so gutted after all that hard work. Still onwards and upwards 🌴🌱🪴
@TropicalGardenUK8 ай бұрын
Thanks Julie 👍 oh no! Was there a lot of frost or mush before you took it outside?
@juliebrace86378 ай бұрын
Hi, your garden is lovely by the way. No mush and no frost had 2 big leaves. I brought it back into the house every day for a week then introduced it under the BBQ shelter for around 2weeks then I planted it out. Today I cut off the mushy stem to soil level so I could see white. I've left it in its pot to see if anything happens going forward from today. Only started tropical gardening last year so learning lots from you guys. Thankyou for inspiring us. 🌴🌱🪴

@@juliebrace8637 oh that’s a shame! I sounds like you took it out gradually. May be a good idea to keep an eye on how much you’re watering in spring. Just gradually increase and don’t overdo it. However you could have done everything right also and just had a bit of bad luck! Hopefully it comes back for you
