You had some nice garlic there! Now you can save your own best bulbs for planting this fall. Your saved garlic will actually adjust itself to your growing conditions over several years, as long as you remember to plant the best and eat the rest! There is no need to buy new seed garlic every year, unless you want to introduce a new variety.

Nice to do your homework with garlic..i had the best results with German hard neck. But i saved the biggest for planting for next year's harvest so i didn't have to much to eat

I grew a soft neck this year and I am in Southeast Michigan as well and it was the best freaking garlic I have ever grown

Nice garlic harvest. Which one did you end up liking the taste of the best?

I ended up dividing and replanting nearly all of these for nursery stock. I've yet to use any of the leftovers. The smallest bulbs will be kept to eat this fall as we will have an abundance.

@@FastGardeningMichigan Nice garlic seems like one of those plants/crops that's easy to suck you into production quickly haha
