Nothing about this story makes any sense. Why aren't the military, police and reporters stationed all over NJ with night vision and thermal cameras ready to spot and more importantly FOLLOW the drones when they fly back to wherever they're coming from? All three of those groups of people, the military, the cops and the media all need to be held accountable for their failure to protect the people here. Thankfully no damage has been done yet (yet) by these drones but, they've been given ample opportunity to drop weapons, fly into passenger airliners to cause a crash, deliver large payloads of weapons and drugs or any other bad act that bad guys can dream up. I honestly cannot believe we don't already know who's flying these things. They might turn their lights off (which is a crime by the way) but they're still not completely invisible and they also make a lot of noise and so even if you can't see them, you can still hear them and that enables you to easily follow them. New Jersey has a lot of wooded areas but at the same time, there's no place in that state where you can be more than 5 miles from civilization. There are eyeballs and cameras literally everywhere, so I don't understand how this has gone on for this long and still remains a mystery. Especially when you consider that being the person who finds out where they're coming from will be rewarded with instant fame in a world where everyone values fame over almost anything else. If I ran a news organization, I'd do everything I possibly could to make sure MY reporters would be the ones to unravel this mystery, right? If you chase one of these things back to their secret lair in your car, all the TV news networks will want to interview you and President Trump will probably pin a medal on you. So how come nobody did that yet? It makes no sense.

Thats the insurmountable problem that has kept them science fiction and whomever comes up with a functional and safe system that a teenager can follow, will be the next Henry Ford. The FAA has clear rules requiring all aircraft, including drones, to be registered and identifiable. If these drones are unidentified and violating U.S. airspace, there should be protocols in place to address this. Why isn’t this being enforced?

These are actually not your standard everyday drone. These are incredibly expensive, large, and in masse. Hovering around for hours longer than normal drone battery capacity making homeowners nervous as they fly just above the tree tops at times.

Drones fly over my house regularly. I wave to them. The only thing to fear is fear itself. The military flys maneuvers over southern CA every day. Bombs are exploded in certain areas. No one freaks tf out over it. The military has to practice daily to be prepared for war. Nothing new. Try moving into the 21st century where drones are common.
