Asparagus planting & growing in Arizona has turned out to be one of my favorite things. Perhaps, because it's one of the true perennials I have growing. In this video I share with you a bit about my journey from seed to now, site placement, companion planting, and the revamp of my bed, plus the results.

Love asparagus! Thanks for some really great tips. It was nice to see the before, during, and after with the bed. I was able to over-winter several bag tomatoes this year(with many nights of covering 🥶). After cutting them back they are now looking really good. We’ve also had serranos and jalapeños all winter! Thanks for a great video and take care always.

how long do you water your fabric pots to keep them moist? I seem to be doing something wrong because my plants still die every summer.

1 sec per gallon 2x a day. So a 10 gallon bag would get 10 seconds of water. I highly recommend some type of mulch to keep the top of the soil protected, leaves, small wood chips straw etc.

@@WhoisMichelleCollie when I didn't have trees I always watched for leaves in my neighbors yards and asked if I could rake & take theirs!
